I've downloaded Inventor alpha 5, Being through all your tutorials(7) and i'm very much interested in assembly now. is there any possiablity that you could create a tutorial from scratch, with a small program/application with its own .inc file ? as i'm not too sure where or how the designing goes from scratch. in other words i have no clue how you got thoose two images on the monitor in the first place.. lol... Huh

Hi!  I really should at some point, though the nitty gritty of the Windows API (with which I display the images, read/write files, etc.) is a big can of worms to tackle, since it's several thousand functions and structures large, not to mention tens of thousands of options for them.  It's even more confusing in Linux, since it appears to have no user interface API, and its system calling interface is a nightmare.

I'd probably pick a few things that I tend to use in the Windows API and explain how to use them in making a program from scratch in Inventor IDE.

Also, I'm dreadfully sorry for taking so long to reply.  The forum seems to keep deselecting the option I set to be notified of all posts on all boards, so from now on I'll try to check manually more often.  Two weeks is really inexcusable.  Sad
